What or who got you interested in Athletics?

School teachers while at high school in Alice Springs were the first to introduce me to athletics

Best and worst thing about Athletics?

Best: the people I have met worked with and competed with and the places I have been to. Worst: some overblown egos of individuals.

Take us through a typical training session?

Depends on the time of year but a throwing session involves a 20-30 min running warm up including drills , then throwing drills then 20-40 full throws, time taken up to 2 hours

Athletics career goals/aspirations?

Perform well at the upcoming 2011 IPC World Champs in NZ then work toward selection for the 2012 Paralympics.

Who is/are your idol(s)/hero(es)?

Athletics wise I revered the likes of Frank Fredericks who in an era of drugs and egos stood out as a man with humility and integrity, I was very fortunate to meet him some years ago and he is every bit the real deal in person.
