This year's Gift of Life walk will be held on Wednesday 27 February, from Regatta Point on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. 

The walk is held during DonateLife Week 2013, a national event which runs from Sunday 24 February to Sunday 3 March in order to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation. This year, the theme is "Make your wish count: discover, decide, discuss organ and tissue donation."

Participants will gather at 6.45am, with the walk starting at 7am sharp. There will be two options—bridge to bridge or a shorter version through Commonwealth Park which should take 25 minutes. 

Walkers will be treated to a free healthy breakfast following the walk. Bring the kids and tell friends to come along. You can even bring the pooch along too!
